I could not have asked for a better day to start out on a 10,000-mile road trip. The weather was gorgeous, the skies were sunny, and family, friends and colleagues at North Carolina Central University gathered with several radio and tv stations to wish me well on my departure. I really must thank my colleagues in the NCCU Counselor Education Program (www.nccucounseling.com) for putting together such a wonderful sendoff as I headed off to my 1st stop at Marine Corp Base -Quantico. I will have to give an update on MCB-Quantico later… It’s time to hit the road again <smile>
